WEEK 16 AND WEEK 17 - DRAFT SUBMISSION TO SUPERVISOR

Activity: Submitting Draft of the Proposal Report and Final Check Report


This week, i had submitted draft of the proposal report to my supervisor to be check. There are few thing that i have do to correction before submit the final report. 

Firstly, to add in some information on literature review in the abstract and also the expected outcome of the project. She want the summary of literature review on current technology use especially during the pandemic. She also want me to add in the research gap more details found from literature review on current trends/practice found journal/ paper. She also comment about my explanation is to general for the hardware component and want me to specific the function of the component in this project. The reference for this report also should be change because the reference format used is based on the marking scheme is the APA style instead of the IEEE style.

After done the correcting for the report, I submit  the report to my supervisor again for the final checking before submitting the final report. Overall my supervisor said my report is just okay.

Before submit the final report, all student should check the plagiarism of the report in order to make sure the report in not copying from others. The percentage for the plagiarism should be below 20% according to the UniKL FYP.

So, after done the correction of the report, the plagiarism where the similarity for my report is around 13%.

WEEK 5 - ARTICLE RESEARCH ON RELATED TOPIC

For this week, I need to make a lot of research on my project which is Monitoring System of PUI Respiration Rate. The research was include the use of variety sensor in detecting the pressure on the chess wall.  The previous work on method of monitoring without contact with the patients. I also research about the Symptom of Covid-19 and how the symptom effect respiration rate of the Covid-19 Patient. Therefor, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, i need to create a remotely device that can monitor respiration rate of the patient without any contact with them. Beside that the article I research also include the breathing mechanism.

WEEK 6 : (FYP2) DESIGN SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM OF THE CIRCUIT

 For this week, I'm going to design the circuit diagram for my project. This circuit consist of several component including the microcontroller NodeMCU.   So, I'm using the fritzing software to design the circuit diagram on breadboard. I'm using A0 as the Input for the Force Sensitivity Resistor. For LED I'm using the D1 and D3 pin for the output. The push button is use as the external reset button and is connected to the RESET pin. The switch is use to turn on and off the circuit. So how this device work. when we are breathing, there will be a change in resistance with respect to the force of the thoracic. When breathing occurs, there will be increase in the force. This increase in force will reduce the resistance in FSR and this reduction in resistance will allow conductance and this conduction is counted as one breath. This is the process involved in measuring the heart rate.
