Final Year Project 2

  As I writing this blog I can keep track on my FYP 1 progress for every week. 

Activity: Submitting Draft of the Proposal Report and  Final Check Report This week, i had submitted draft of the proposal report to my supervisor to be check. There are few thing that i have do to correction before submit the final report.  Firstly, to add in some information on literature review in the abstract and also the expected outcome of the project. She want the summary of literature review on current technology use especially during the pandemic. She also want me to add in the research gap more details found from literature review on current trends/practice found journal/ paper. She also comment about my explanation is to general for the hardware component and want me to specific the function of the component in this project. The reference for this report also should be change because the   reference format used is based on the marking scheme is the APA style instead of the IEEE style. Activity: Continuation Writing the R eport  Draft  Chapter 2: Literature Review From the research that make, Literature writing can be done. I continue to make a change to improve the report writing on this chapter. The APA citation format was use to indicate that the info is from  the previous work. I need to create my own sentence to  make the the plagiarism checking on next week will be below 20%.

  Activity : Chapter 1 & Chapter 3      Writing the Chapter 1 which project background based on the finding and also I add in the problem statement, objective, significant of the project and scope & limitation of the project. For chapter 3 I write the methodology based on the design of flow chart and block diagram on the previous week. I also add on the explanation of every hardware listed.

Activity: Writing Draft of the Report The proposal presentation is done so i have to make a correction to the report based on the comment that assessor suggested. There are some information that i should added for the report which is a previous study on how to calculate the respiration rate based on the formula. I don't have many changes although my assessors are from the Medical Electronics Section. They don't comment more about my medical part but more on the IoT and database. Based on the assessors comment on my title defense presentation, there a few improvement that need to be taken which are: 1- Sensor upgrade in the device tp monitor the respiration rate 2- Product design need to include the user motion aspect in vigorous activity. 3- The problem statement of the project need to be revise 4- For the expected result, the explanation need to be elaborated further. 

  Activity: Presentation Day of The Proposed Project This week is a presentation week for FYP1.  The FYP1 took place onlice via Microsoft Teams , on 14th October 2020. The presentation started at 2.30 pm but all student should be there as early for register with FYP assessor. I was assigned to two assessors which is lecturers from the Electronics Section. The assessors are  Dr.M.Noor & Future Dr. Zarimin.

  Activity: Final Checking for Presentation This week, i had to met my supervisor for check my presentation slide for presentation day next week. This is the list that should have in the slide: Introduction Problem statement Objectives Scopes and Limitation  Literature review  Methodology Product Design Block Diagram Flow Chart Gantt Chart FYP 1 and 2 Preliminary Results Conclusion
